The Hendo
Foundation
The Hendo Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit started by UFC Hall of Famer Dan Henderson. We find kids in our community who need someone in their corner and give them free martial arts training, mentors who believe in them, and friends who have their back. Some of them walk in for the first time with their heads down. Watching them start walking in with their heads up is why we do this.

What we do
Free training for kids
We find kids in the Temecula Valley, Murrieta, and nearby Riverside County towns who need it most and pay for their wrestling and MMA memberships. Ages 6 to 18, and their families never get a bill.
Hendo's Youth ProgramTraining for veterans
We pay for veterans in need to train at our martial arts gym, and they get a team to train with. Nobody should come home and go it alone.
Veterans programOther charities
The golf tournament raises money for other charities. In 2026 that was VETS and Veterans for Child Rescue. Before that it was America's Mighty Warriors, the Special Forces Charitable Trust, and War Party Ranch.

Hendo's charity golf tournament
An 18-hole scramble at Temecula Creek Golf Club with 216 golfers and an awards dinner to close out the day. The money goes to veterans, first responders, and women and children affected by sex trafficking and domestic violence.

Hendo's pig roast
The day after the golf tournament, Dan Henderson opens up his home in Temecula for a pig roast with live music, beer on tap, and cocktails. The money goes to veterans and survivors of sex trafficking.
